Gently reheat the syrup with the bag (in the microwave or in simmering water) until warm to hot (around 50°C).
Pour all the syrup at once over the baba, leaving it inside its container.
Cover and let it gently absorb the syrup until fully soaked.Turn out upside down directly onto a serving plate.
